The primary Parakeet model covers 25 languages. Whisper is available as a broader fallback for languages outside that set. Dictee asks you to choose a concrete spoken language so behavior stays predictable.
OPTIONAL SMART TURN
Smart Turn is a separate local model that detects when you are done speaking. Enable it when you want Dictee to recognize completed turns and support an optional final key after dictation.
